Hadn't heard of this. But I do wonder why aliens would suddenly pop up in this man's yard? I am not skeptical, because it could very well be true, but what were they doing there and what happened to them afterwards? This article doesn't explain the entire story and really a lot of details are missing.
Interesting, but I have pretty much the same questions as what was reflected in the first comment under the article (minus the extra question-marks at the end, which only seems to convey being on the border of hysteria, lol):

"Ok, so what happened ? It crashed in guys back yard ? He happened to call 911 but couldn't use the same phone or someone else's phone to record the aliens ? Where's the crash site ? Whats the out come ????????????"
There are gaps in the story; such reports give me the feeling of being toyed with as they seem designed to cultivate mass-anxiety over Something Out There That's Gonna Get Us. This time, it's aliens. The message seems to be "Stay scared, everyone!"
The story didn't say that the officers actually went to the back yard to examine where the incident allegedly happened. I am curious why if they didn't.
This took place on April 30. Why the delay in releasing the video? If the video release yesterday was to clear the matter up once and for all, I don't think they succeeded.
Btw, if has been classified as "unfounded".
To be clear, I do think the story is bizarre, and I am very skeptical.
Something fell from the sky, that much is real, it was caught on ring cameras, police body cams etc. Just looks like a regular green meteor - I've seen similar myself.
I don't believe the family's story though. I don't believe there was an 8ft alien in their backyard and while they waited for the police, none of them took any pictures/video? Nah, I'm out.

Maybe the Men in Black swooped in and confiscated the pictures/videos. I'd rather believe after seeing the falling object, the family got caught up in a case of mass hysteria. However, this does remind me somewhat of the Kelly/Hopkinsville incident:

The video does. The policeman got it on his body cam, but they're not releasing that video because of the family's privacy. (Which sounds fishy to me.)
