These are strange round spheres sometimes with parallel lines on their sides. These lines are said to be 'fine layering present in the host rock' (see below). I tell you what, this would have to be extremely fine to be caused by that. Layering is usually made by the deposit of different materials over time, so how likely is it to have a regular 2 or 3-line deposit? Anyway, you decide.
Klerksdorp spheres are small objects, often spherical to disc-shaped, that have been collected by miners and rockhounds from 3-billion-year-old pyrophyllite deposits mined by Wonderstone Ltd., near Ottosdal, South Africa. They have been cited by some alternative researchers and reporters in books, popular articles, and many web pages, as inexplicable out-of-place artifacts...
Shape
The objects can come in many different shapes, but they take on a general round shape. Some vague lines, or grooves, may be seen on the outer surface. These have not been machined by aliens but they display imprints of the fine layering present in the host rock in which they grew. [2]
Size
The spheres range in size from .5cm to 10cm, with even latitudinal grooves on them. They were created in space between sediments, much like the way crystal can form extremely precise shapes.
