When it comes to his description of the dogman; it depends on his perspective, distance, and fear as he was watching. You did say that the man said: "the guy claimed to get a really bad vibe and he felt the thing was 'bad news'"; so he was uncomfortable being where he was located.

Yes that the correct Yoga pose...I cannot imagine a bear doing that pose, bears do not really have long legs, it wouldnt match guys description either.
The guy wasnt uncomfortable in the area, its where he has worked for a number of years, he drives the road on his shift, that 'thing' made him uncomfortable, since it was such a strange thing to see, despite the pose it was holding.
He said he and the thing were staring at each other for a short time, In my opinion, that is enough time to sense whether something/someone is 'bad news' or not.
We will just have to agree to disagree on this, or at least until I talk to the guy and find out more.
