How can someone find out if they have this ability? Is this something you are born with? I am 35 years old. Before I turned 25 I was thinking about my high school bully who physically attacked me several times starting from junior high school. I moved away to another state in 2003 and during this time I would lie on my back on the floor and imagine ways for him to die and one more realistic thought in my head of him dying that even shocked me when I saw in my mind ended up actually happening. He got hit by a 2002 dodge pickup truck in late 2011. The vehicle looks like the one I imagined. It wasn't a small car I was thinking about. So could this be a premonition? And do I have control of what I can see in the future or can it just be something that only happened 1 time? Is it something I have to concentrate hard for a while for it to happen? I remember creating thoughts and this was the most violent way I could think of for him to die so I stuck with that and would replay this thought in my head wishing that it would happen to him and it did. The article has the name of the guy who did it and I don't think he was charged since it looks like it was an accident. This is the only time I predicted something like this. I've had paranormal experiences a couple of years ago that is not related to the guy who died. That was triggered by something else and it was a demonic haunting others around me also experienced and I happen to also get it on audio which was later confirmed by a paranormal investigator to be coming from the same room I was in and the voice didn't below to me or the other person in the room. He said not only was it coming from the same room I was in but also from behind me. I had a supernatural experience that involved me when I was around 7th grade but that was a positive experience. I just want to find out if I had a premonition ability and why it only happened once.

I think you are worrying about this and feeling guilty about this way too much; this is your second thread about this (unless there are others I'm missing). Plenty of people fantasize about bad things happening to people they dislike. Plenty of people-- good and bad-- have bad things happen to them. I find it unlikely that one is caused by the other. He's dead, you're relieved about the fact, stop worrying about it.

I am asking about premonitions.

When did you find out about the accident?

And again, you're overthinking it. As I said, you likely had nothing to do with what happened to him, whether you caused it or "predicted" it. But grabbing onto an idea and obsessing over it seems to be a theme with you.

I say this in all seriousness: you may want to learn some techniques for redirecting your thoughts. It is not healthy for you to have fixations you are not able to let go of.

I suspect that many of us have the ability, but don't experience it, unless conditions are right. (Unlike people who seem to have a hereditary gift in that arena.) I had what you could call a premonition once; it was triggered by some music I was listening to. My explanation is, that music stimulates the right side of the brain, which also is the seat of our intuitive faculties, so you could say I had a momentary psychic "opening". It's possible that some people occasionally have something like premonitions, when they have "hunches" about some fairly insignificant event, like running into a friend they'd been thinking of, and that sort of thing.

Are you one of those gifted people, who from time to time receive flashes of insight about a future catastrophe that comes true? it would seem not. Could your one experience be chalked up to "premonition", or simply to stress, trauma and a wish to get even with your tormentor? I don't know.

However, it does seem that your traumatic history in school is still causing you some disturbance, so I recommend you check out a trauma specialist, to finally get some peace of mind. They have some really quick and effective techniques these days, that don't involve "talk therapy", but deal directly with the subconscious to remove the emotional charge associated with the traumatic events. It doesn't have to drag on for many weeks or months. A few sessions can take care of it.

This post has NOTHING to do with trauma or therapy. I am ONLY asking about premonition abilities.

No, you didn’t wish this into happening. You thought of a million ways to kill him, and one happened.

I believe in karma. Bad people come to bad ends. That he did so is no surprise to me.

And if you’ve been holding onto this for six years, you need to just let it go. You didn’t do this to him, karma did it to him.

Less than 5 but I focused on this one the most because I felt it would be the ultimate punishment foe him. I also remember telling myself that maybe if I repeat this specific thought it could happen so many times I would imagine him getting hit by this kind of vehicle every time telling myself to imagine it more real which means creating the images in my head more real than before.
