""There are so many billions of stars out there in the universe that there must be all sorts of different forms of life," she went on. "Will they be like you and me, made up of carbon and nitrogen? Maybe not."
Then, in a tantalizing theory that should probably make you very suspicious of your colleagues, Sharman added: "It's possible they're here right now and we simply can't see them.""
She uses the term "possible" like you use the term "could". It does not mean that they are definitely here. We do agree that with all the possibilities for life to exist in the galaxy and universe; that there are very good chances that it does exist. What we question is whether or not it exist here.
Her reasoning that extraterrestrial life exists is sound. Is there proof? Nope. Not a bit.
It is certainly possible that aliens exist among us. "Possible" being the key word. It is just as possible that invisible unicorns ride every rainbow and there really are elves in Iceland. You cannot rule it out with 100% certainty. But again, there is not a bit of proof for any of it.

If they are among us, they would be NOTHING like those images above, they would blend in and probably look like your neighbor or boss at work, they would not act or dress in a way that draws attention to them.
The old B Movie, 'They live' is probably a realistic depiction of how they would look and act. (indistinguishable from normal humans).

What do you base this on. Where do you start and how do you reach this conclusion? I just want to know the process and how we get from no intelligent extra terrestrial life to they would look and act like us.
Maybe this is why Britain hasn't had an astronaut before...
