Some people believe they are 'inter-dimensional' (just like aliens), and this is how they seem to vanish and can never be found, lights and UFOs in the sky in an area that sees multiple bigfoot sightings is pretty common as well.

You nailed it.

UFOs are fairly rare, they tend to pop up unexpectedly, they act more curious about humans than anything else, most of the time, they will fly away or disappear without a trace, their behavior has been the same for decades, centuries...
Bigfoots do these exact same things when they encounter people...it does seem like Bigfoots could be 'alien probes', sent to gather information and observe humans (non aggressively), it could be a long term experiment, to see how humans react to, and/or engage with 'humanoid creatures'?
**Although this does not explain people seeing Bigfoot youngsters, or family groups.

The Series 2 episodes 3-8 have recently appeared for me, so I watched them. Interestingly they have been given a fossil of a 6-fingered hand and a photograph of a the torn-off hand with huge claws. Some woman said her father found a huge 'human' jawbone in a cave which was larger than the one from a human. I took a screenshot of the hand, so I will try and find a way to show it somehow. (see below) Suggestions as to what this can be? The guy said he threw it away into the woods and it was only later that he realised it might be something unusual. His hunting dogs brought it back after they had been out on their own. Another man in a later episode said that his friends hunting dogs were taken collars, leads and all from his property and then left some ways up a nearby track - all minus their bodies, just heads left behind.
Also, some ex-airforce guy recognized and stopped Bryce at a filling station and told him that on a training exercise they were warned about sasquatch by the training instructor and to be careful not to engage them.

Why is it that when believers have a still image they cannot take a clear photograph? To me it looks like the 'hand' has no small finger knuckle. It looks like the 'creature' would not be able to move that claw or the whole hand was fabricated. However, if you do have this kind of evidence, then the scientific community could test it and prove your case.
You don't prove these stories with statements like (I quote from what you posted): "Some woman said....." or "some ex-airforce guy"! You need to use the 5 W's: Who, What, Where, When and Why. That seems to be a real problem for believers!

The familiarity does not lie with beings from other planets and large ape-like creatures.
The commonality is with the tall tales people tell, to others and to themselves.

I must have missed something, I dont recall either of these episodes. Was this after they went into the cave?

Another episode in Washington dropped last night. I have to say this sequence is better than the Oregon and Kentucky episodes.

They find a much better cave which does not have toxic fumes in it and is now considered to be a large cave complex of interconnected underground caverns. A couple more pieces of hair were found and another tree structure too. Some really strange IR images both across the valley and locally as well.
I think this second series is much better than the first although still highly scripted and leaves a lot unexplored I feel.If you imagine the dialog to be added after the film is shot it kind-of ruins it for me.
We need a proper scientific expedition which does not have the restriction of appealing to TV audiences - something like Bigelow's Skinwalker Ranch NIDS thing.. Anyone feel like funding a bunch of scientists and explorers to go out for a week or two?
