Is this a fulfillment of this prophecy?

The prophecy states: "16) nameless diseases will spread, the cause of which will not be known, and such diseases will exact a heavy toll of human beings and work animals;" This prophecy was revealed on 1979-10-19 and published at Philippine Panorama magazine, the Sunday supplement of Bulletin Today, on 1980-03-30.

No, this one has a name and we know the cause. You can still look forward to that one.

Either way, I had a dream about 3 months ago concerning worldwide death/catastrophe. The following day I saw at least 2 references to epidemic movies and events. I had a very uneasy feeling about it for days and told a few family members. I needed closure. I told myself it was because I listened to cyprus hill 'I aint going out like that', the night before. Well here we are.

Right. Most deaths involve nursing homes and other elderly folks as with the swine flu in 2009/10, and even so, it's mainly elderly with pre-existing conditions contributing to their susceptibility. I don't find this reassuring, because it makes me a little nervous about what may lie ahead when I age into that cohort. Really working hard to maintain as healthy a foundation as possible...

This isn't a fulfillment of the prophecy, because the prophecy specifies diseases with unknown origins, and the origin of this one, as with the swine flu and bird flu before it, is known.

You could prophesy an epidemic every election cycle. I believe thats about how they been rolling in for a few cycles anyway.

Nostradamus they ain't as it so vague as to fit a number of epidemics.
But lets examine what they have wrong:
  • It isn't nameless, it's called coronavirus and was named and known in the 60s.
  • Historically compared to other epidemics, and even human tragedies, it has not taken a heavy toll on the human population (actually, statistically insignificant) and almost none that I know of to work animals. As it's slowing down in China now, the original outbreak site, we can hopefully predict that it will likewise slow down in the rest of the world sooner rather than later.

Actually, then, they have everything wrong.

This is like that Woody Allen book that included a set of prophecies from Nostradamus. Things like "Two armies will go to war, but only one will win."

Half the people hospitalized in France are younger than their 60's. They may not be the ones who end up dying, but just the same, it's not just elderly who get it bad.
