So many loose ends, and they're getting looser. Did their tests establish that all the funny noises in the caretakers' house were due to echoes in that basement room? Nope, not really! Why didn't they tell the owner about that helicopter? I thought they did, maybe Im wrong. Did the drilling several episodes ago produce any informative results at all? The never said, but I doubt it did.
The drilling turned up a hard bedrock layer in both drill sites. It was so hard that they had to stop drilling. So, it was an anomalous layer beneath the surface but of rock not of anything spacecraft-ish which was the thing we were supposed to think might be under there.
It was strange that the ionising radiation which gave Travis his red face burns, was no longer there when Eric and Dragon went to see if they could find it around the homestead 2 area. They got nothing anywhere near where they were drilling. Then there was the telegraph pole wire flapping wildly, we were supposed to think was odd. Could have been a gust of wind caught the wire perhaps?
They also mentioned the earthquake-like underground rumbling at the same time. I believe Eric said they had seismic detectors there around the ranch but no-one said they would look at the read-outs when they got back to the control centre.
Yes, so basically it goes from one "event" to the next without any proper investigation into any of them.

It is a poorly written made up TV show on a channel known for fake made up "documentaries".
HA, yeah, I was having problems remembering the name this morning, and had just typed "something else" when I remember the name. I guess I didn't get it all backed out right.
The History Channel did a marathon yesterday, and I happened to catch a couple of the many sequences that showed Dragon being uncooperative and Erik being ineffective. Does anyone think that maybe one of them is a mole for the govt who is trying to get information about the investigation or to actively thwart their efforts?

From somewhat unreliable sources the "rumor" is one of them is definitely a government mole and the other was threatened by a "secret society". There is no way the general public could handle the truth.
Season finale is the next episode, and probably series finale.
