haha - then you need to watch the TV program "These Woods are Haunted" too. They are usually very believable and report the same kind of experiences. CD thread here

If a bear or wolf is nearby, its going to know you are there first, and usually bears are very territorial, if it has cubs around, it will more than likely attack you just for being in its area, Bigfoots tend to stay a distance away, preferring to hide and watch you, many times, they will 'stalk' you as you walk, but always keeping themselves hidden at a distance.
Wait, so they are common enough where you and others can assess their behavior, yet not common enough where you can catch one, kill one, or even present a shred of evidence of a giant, eight foot tall creature walking around?

No, I have never seen one.

Our shred of evidence is that there is no evidence. There is no picture that doesn’t look photoshopped, there are no scientists who are trying to find any except the ones on TV.

We should find real bones, carcasses — something.

In fact, you can see wildlife coming back into the cities and the towns because of the shelter in place. Because we aren’t running around like we used to, coyotes are running around San Francisco. Got pictures of it, plenty of them.

There were pictures of elk walking around a town somewhere recently I just saw. This was on the news, footage from all sorts of cameras all around the neighborhood said the herd was walking around.

Where is Bigfoot? Don’t you think he’d be scoping around going where are all the people, what’s going on here? And yet— zip nada nothing.

I too wish there was more evidence to prove Sas exists. This is the only way to shut up the doubters. I think its pout there, it just hasnt been found. Having said that, as a believer I do think there are too many reports that are just simply mis-identifications, made up or alcohol/drug induced sightings/stories, and just flat out hoaxes for 15 minutes of fame.

To me it would be logical to say Big Foot reports are similar to UFO sightings. What I mean is that the vast majority could be explained. There is only a small percentage that cannot be explained. The problem is that our believers want to toss in every sighting even when many are second and third hand information. It's like talking on CD; we cannot verify our own stories because we hide behind our avatars. Nobody is giving out personal information while many insist that we must believe them.

We need a yardstick for all of these reports and you do not turn to organizations that make their money from the reports. The facts have to be written in black and white, without special dark colors and eerie sounds, and have the credentials and scientific reports to back up their claims.

If mis identifications were responsible for a large majority of these sightings....there would also be LOTS of regular bear sightings and encounters at the same time (in the same area)...

Have to consider...not EVERYONE is going to 'mis identify'...many people will see the bear for what it is and report accordingly.

Whats really weird in connection with this...the hotspot over in Brown and Adams county, OH, there are NUMEROUS Bigfoot and Dogman sightings, (going back to the 70s), but the number of 'bear sightings'...Brown county..ZERO, Adams County...3 (over a 30 yr period)...How is that possible?

What else could these people be mis identifying, that is large enough and matches the descriptions given? (bears are the only applicable animal).

Bears aren't being reported, its that simple. You cant compare 2 countie to the entire country, hell the entire world.
