In every culture on Earth, there has been this fascination with ghosts, too many experiences recounted by people to be discounted. Yes, I believe in ghosts.

Thank you.

I’m okay. I have a good grief therapist. And the knowledge my husband would not want me to wallow in grief, because he told me.

Yes, I have seen one, back when I was 17-18. Never seen one before this or since.

Well, I hope you do see him, in a comforting sort of way.

I am a skeptic myself, but my mom, who is usually a skeptic herself, swears that one day, my grandfather just blinked back into this world for a second, leaned over to kiss her on the head, and blinked out.

I would love to believe it is true and that they don't really leave us, so much as wait for us.

Not a yes/ no question.

There are entities hanging around on the other side of the veil but they are not and never have been dead humans.

I always thought it was interesting, in the bible, after Jesus was crucified on the cross and he appeared to some of the disciples, they assumed he was a ghost at first (meaning, they had a word for these things even back then!)

I dont think ghosts are demonic either, the one I saw was neutral for the most part, not good or evil, it was just there, Im not even sure it knew I was there looking at it.

I voted "Yes", however, I do NOT think they are "dead humans". Demonic, Angelic, time slips, place memories, delusion, etc and the like.

Of course, IF the "ghost" is responsive, that would lean me towards the Demonic or Angelic side.

I think some religious beliefs are too black & white in nature. Heaven/Hell, angelic/demons, etc.

From what I have read, it seems souls/spirits can incarnate into anyplace they like according to whatever they need to learn. There are millions apon millions of different places to incarnate across the universe - each with different conditions and physicality. So, it is perfectly possibly to be non-human and still be a reasonable spirit. This means that the "non-human" label is misleading as it suggests a being is negative rather than positive. (again too black/white - what about grey?)

If you believe in hypnosis, the books from Dr Michael Newton are interesting as they relate what it is like after and before death.

Dr. Michael Newton is world-famous for his spiritual regression techniques that take hypnotic subjects back to their time in the spirit world. His two best-selling books of client case studies , Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls , have left thousands of readers eager to discover their own afterlife adventures.
If you want to do-it-yourself, you and a couple of friends can try the Christos Experiment I have related/linked in other threads in this forum. Not sure how safe you will think it is, but it does not appear to be "opening up portals" or "exposing us to demons" but hey...I might just be the devil in disguise mightn't I?
