I've been surprised how inactive and, well, dull the Unexplained Mysteries and Paranormal forum seems to be.

Here is a really excellent site that has been around for MANY years and is owned and operated by folks known to me who are SERIOUS about Unexplained Mysteries and Paranormal phenomena: https://www.anomalist.com/

It is updated daily with brief commentary and links to news of the weird from around the world. They also keep abreast of new books and show them down the right side with links to Amazon.

I've visited this site daily for at least 20 years. If you have any real interest in these topics, you owe it to yourself to make this one of your go-to sites.

Why do you think it is dull?

Unexplained mysteries are only good if you dont want to ask too many questions or go down the rabbit hole too far.

As soon as you start to wonder...then everything becomes possible.

Of course, if you are someone who likes to use science as a benchmark and consider anything which is unproven to be labelled as 'unknown' and left at that - then maybe the unexplained is a good category to have. It wont leave much room for discussion though because folks like to 'suggest' what things might be... which are by definition merely speculation.

Paranormal is too spooky for my taste. And I think unexplained mysteries are an entirely different ball of wax.
I dont think there is enough 'content' to have multiple sub forums going.
