I will admit, I have not done any digging or verification on any other witnesses, although it would be a fairly simple thing to do...in most cases, the sighting reports list the city/state and the name of the witness, so it would be very easy to place an anonymous phone call, just to see if that person does work there, is a cop, judge, etc. ( however there may be some problem with privacy, I know at my job, we are not permitted to release employee names, or even acknowledge a person works for us, it really depends on who is asking though).
