Watched it last night. Documentary by an ex-cop who wrote a bunch of "Missing 411" books about people who have disappeared. The movie discussed primarily clusters of hunters who disappeared under very strange circumstances. In a couple of cases the bodies were found, in others NOTHING was found.
Not a bad way to spend 90 minutes. Pretty strange stuff. They interviewed family members, friends, cops, first responders, and most seem to be truly mystified about the circumstances behind the person's disappearance.
I watched a guy who was some kind of remote viewer, his last name is Cottingham I believe, his routine is similar to what Edgar Caycee did, he would go into a trance, and people would ask him questions. He did a session on the 'Missing 411' and basically he said the large majority of these people went missing due to natural causes, like getting lost and dying in the wilderness, getting hurt and starving to death, animal attacks, but he did say a small percentage were due to 'supernatural causes' (mainly UFOs), he was asked about whether a bigfoot had been involved in any, but he said he did not see any where a Bigfoot was responsible.
Bigfoot is one thing, Dogman is another. Maybe it comes down to semantics and what a creature is called? Their character appears to be totally different with one being more aggressive than the other.
One witness I believe on one of the cases, even said she saw a big hairy something with 'something' (it was a missing small child case) under its arm moving through the forest at speed. Now, whether that was a genuine sighting I dont know, but it was reported on one of the missing cases.
The second doc is indeed very good; much better than the first. The first had good info, just wasn't properly executed and produced, IMO.
If you like the documentary, his books are even better. Start w/ Missing 411 Western or Eastern. Western was published first. If you can't afford them, I heard some libraries can get them.
When you read the books, and spend enough time in them, you'll see that bigfoot or UFO's or "drug dealers in the forest", etc., aren't really sufficient explanations. What I appreciate about Paulides is that he just lays out the facts and SAR/sheriff's reports for all to see. He allows you to just consider the evidence. He doesn't believe the evidence shows X is responsible for everything.
Also, I believe Hunt for the Skinwalker to be must reading along w/ the 411 books. The paranormal evidence all ties in together.

I was disappointed with previous 'missing411 show. It revolved mostly around one story that seemed easily explained by couger, and was heavy on drama.
