I’m not saying there won’t be a fee, but if someone has it, you can get it. At the fed level it might be redacted.

Since I don’t know where you are, I don’t know the police chain. Should be easy enough to find out.
Hmmm, I never thought of doing a FOIA request for it...Should be easy, because I have the date, time and all 4 people that were involved...Im going to do this, thank you for suggesting it! Should be interesting to see if they approve it, I would definitely pay any related fee for this information, (as long as its not $1000s of dollars)...

I dont know why there would be any redactions in such a police report, it was basically just a run of the mill 'cryptid sighting', same thing if someone had claimed to see Bigfoot, there was no crime involved, and really any 'redactions' would add credibility to my theory.

Im also going to try finding the owner of the BP gas station at the time this happened, I believe it was a local guy that owned a franchise, I want to speak to them about the surv video.

The video is probably gone, unless he thought to keep a copy. How most of those things work is after so many days it rewrites over the last so many days.

Hit the state police first and see if it went there. Often, what happens is the local police do not have the facilities to do any sort of hard investigating. Where I grew up the local police could handle burglaries or something like that but if somebody got murdered they called in the state guys because the state guys had the ability to take evidence and have it analyzed. Our tiny little local police department didn’t have anything like that.

Right, I doubt he still has this video footage from 2008, really though, I just want to talk to someone who has seen the video, Im sure he remembers it, 'werewolf sightings' dont happen too often around here! (this is the only one, before and since).

Thats also something I need to ask the witness I am now in contact with, I would assume she has seen it, because all 4 of them went to the Police station afterward that night and this was after the police had recovered the video.

My opinion is, if this was a real 'werewolf' ( a person that can change into a hybrid man-wolf), he probably moves around as a transient, there is a large homeless camp out in a forested area not far from this bowling alley, I think this may be why we only had one sighting in this area, he moved on after this incident and who knows where he went then. Thats just the opinion I have, I think such a person would remain solitary and want to stay off the grid completely, moving around as a homeless person, he would be in different areas all the time.

There are many jobs which move around the country, things such as heavy goods hauling or even salesmen with a large area to cover.

I would assume anyone who discovered they had captured a cryptid on CCTV camera would make a copy and keep that copy for ever and if they were clever, would have done that before the police took it away, but did they realize what they had on their video? Probably not until the police turned up and asked them for it. When there are hours of video captured each day, you dont watch it all back again to see what you have captured.

In our stores, we regularly have to go into the security cam footage, to retrieve specific footage for police, relating to people using stolen credit cards, police will tell us the time and date the card was used at our store and we can pull up that specific time on the cameras, they usually record the transaction and download it to a thumbdrive and take it with them.

This BP though, I doubt it had the quality surv cam system that our stores have, it was just a small locally owned gas station, Im trying to find out who the owner of the station was in 2008.
