In 1957, the married owners of an El Paso photography store disappeared. They left behind a house, their business, their money, and even their cat. They have never been found. Some believe they were murdered, and others believe they were Russian spies. Their house is said to be haunted. The case is still open.

Tales from the Morgue: 48 years, many theories, no leads. Still missing

Yes! I remember the "haunted house" on Piedmont! Haven't thought about that in years! The story I heard was that they were murdered there.

I find tales involving missing persons very fascinating. There are a lot of them on You-Tube.

I never heard of the Patterson case, but the article was a good read.

However, I've heard of these cases:

How about one that keeps getting dug up every few years (pun intended); Jimmy Hoffa?

"f5fstop", I'm was born and raised in Michigan (suburban Detroit to be specific) and shortly after Hoffa was reported "missing", his case was discussed to death (pun intended). His photos were on the six o'clock news and in the local Detroit newspapers on a daily basis. I've driven past the restaurant wherein JH was last seen alive, on more than one occasion. The site does give off a creepy vibe.

You're welcome "ByeByeLW!" I'm glad you enjoyed the vids.

Sincerely,

Steve

I was a kid living in MA when Joan Risch disappeared. Some say she abandoned her family because it was discovered that she had checked out books from the local library on how to disappear. Yet, some say she met with foul play.

As for the Lyon sisters, there has been a break in that case:
