I think this is an important current cryptid case which could be followed up and investigated further. I wonder what these things look like on RADAR?
Witness is an Air Traffic Controller and says he has heard of other sighting around the airport. This sighting took place in July 2020 so these are still happening up to present times. I wonder if they have been captured on airport security cameras as there must be numerous security cameras covering every inch of the airport. Who can access these? (see last paragraph)
I noticed that it sported a very large and impressive set of black membranous wings that also looked like the wings of a bat. They were open to their full length and must have been at least 12 feet from tip to tip. The arms on this thing were very long and very skinny and ended in long bony fingers tipped with what appeared to be long talons. The legs on the being were comparable with the arms, long and skinny but I was unable to really look at the feet to see if they were also shaped similarly to the hands. I stood there and saw this thing for about 30 seconds as it seemingly looked around the ground. In the time I was looking no fewer than two others had come down the walkway and also saw it. If it had looked up, it would have clearly seen us all staring in bewilderment at it. It kept it’s head down, looking at the ground until an approaching service vehicle seemingly startled it and it looked up.
My employer knows that these sightings are going on and starting to happen with quite a regular frequency, but they are still adamant that people do not talk about it or that it is allowed to be released to the public.
Its understandable why no pictures of the creature...after all, these kinds of sightings take place without warning, and happen very quickly, its gone before many people start fumbling for their cell phone.
I am a total believer in the existence of Bigfoot and Aliens, but this Mothman stuff is nothing but baloney. I dont buy it all. Fake.
Maybe so, but there are a lot of people who report such things.
Possibly because you dont think these strange creatures exist, but many people from all over the world report cryptids of various kinds. Could be something we dont understand is happening perhaps?
I agree it is pretty scary to think there are large bat-men out there with leathery wings.
How come that no one took a picture of that creature?
I've seen a few pictures and videos from Chicago that supposedly show it -- I think all of them can be explained as bats disturbed from their sleep during daytime, or worse, rabid. Or misidentified birds in some of the blurrier cases. Without something nearby for compariso, judging the actual size of an object in the sky is impossible.
Do some research on them. These sightings are well documented before a major catastrophe happens.
Is this cause or effect? It is easy to look at something after the event and say this caused that or was a portent of disaster. Apart from the collapse of the bridge with the associated loss of life, has anything else been attributed to Mothman being a warning of disaster?
