The Butler Weekly Times (Butler, Mo) April 25, 1918 Pg6

A few minutes after having stabbed his son-in-law in a fight Thursday, A.A. Webster of Lebanon, dropped dead from fright in his home.
The son-in-law, Perry Naylor, who had shot Webster, injuring him slightly, hearing of Webster's death, thought he had killed Webster and shot and killed himself.
Neither of the men's injuries sustained in the fight were serious.

DIES ON DAUGHTER'S GRAVE

Pottsville, Pa., Dec. 26---Despondent over the recent death of his daughter, George Auman, 50 years old, threw himself upon her grave today, and then exploded a stick of dynamite on his chest. The dynamite blew him into pieces.

A COMET DISCOVERED

Cambridge, Mass., Dec. 16---A telephone message was received at Harvard Observatory, Friday, from Prof. Percival Lowell, of the Flagstaff (Ariz.) Observatory, who is in the east, stating that a comet was found by Prof. Slipher on a photograph made Nov. 29.
The comet was moving four miles per hour in a direction 15 degrees north of west. Moonlight has since interfered with observation.

HE PULLED HIS OWN LEG

J.Z. Crane, of Twenty-Fifth and Terrace streets, was fined $25 yesterday morning by Police Judge Burnham.
Judge Burnham asked Mrs. Crane if her husband kicked her and she said no, he beat her over the head with his leg. His honor was a little mystified.
" How could he do that ? " he asked.
" He just undid his leg, seized it in his hand and struck me several blows with it." she answered.
Crane has a wooden leg.
