TERRIBLE REVENGE

The keeper in an eating house in Berlin socked one of his waiters in the ear. The fellow at once rushed in among the guests in the dining room and exclaimed; "Gentlemen, I hope you enjoy your horse flesh!"

"Horse flesh?" inquired the guests as they laid down their knives and forks. "Yes, horse flesh. Come with me into the cellar and I will prove it." In five minutes the dining room was empty and has remained so up to the present, the caterer having no means of redress.

LOL, I done something similar to the horse story.

I ate at this little place in Europe but before I ordered the owner seen I was American so he told me it was horse meat in the gyros sold there. I figured I would try it. I liked it so a couple days later I told my friend I was traveling with I was going across the street to have lunch. He decided to come with. I went up to the counter and ordered for both of us. About half way through the meal I told him what he was eating. He stopped and didn't move for easily 30 seconds. Then he finished his lunch.

Just think of all the things people are capable of eating if they didn't know what it was.

Goodrich is 35 years old and lives in East St. Louis. When the flood came he offered his assistance, and after three days of unceasing work, he quit the **** and was found wandering aimlessly about the streets yesterday morning.

CORPSE REVIVED DURING INQUEST

San Antonio, Tex., Nov. 19--- May O. Donald, an actress, who goes under the assumed name of May Diamond, attempted suicide tonight at 8 o'clock by taking a double dose of morphine.
Physicians were summoned, who worked with her until 10 o'clock, when they gave her up for dead.

She was taken in charge by her associates and dressed and prepared for burial. The undertaker and Justice Umshied were sent for, and just as the newly elected justice of the peace had rendered his first coroner's verdict, "Died from the effects of poison taken by her own hands," the supposed suicide began to clinch her hands and gasp for breath.

Excitement and consternation reigned supreme among the women and other attendants for several minutes, and when they recovered their equilibrium physicians were sent for, and at midnight she is doing well and with prospects for recovery.
She has a father in Memphis and a mother in St. Louis.
