Aside from the housing market/economic forecast, I've yet to hear any psychic predictions for 2009. Any predictions for the new year?

After the first of the year and after January 20 the economy may get a little bit worse for avery short period of time, then it will start to turn around and very slowly and very cautiously it will start to get better and become strong, there will be some very big shakeups in some of the very large industries and companies, there will be some mergers, however in the long run, it will get better. The housing market, towards the end of 2009, will start to get a little better and housing prices will be at a more realistic price range, however, qualifying will be a lot stricter.

I hope so for your sake. You need to be closer to the kids and thaw out those bones!

I predict a cold winter, wet cool spring, many tornadoes, flooding, a hot sticky summer and a colorful fall.

Just like last year, except the tornadoes have to miss all towns.

The economy is going stay in the crapper all year. The next round of loans are going to start defaulting. It will be as bad or worse as what we just went through.

Obama is going to talk with all the bad guys then blast the Hell out of them if they don't want to get along and behave. He will shift the emphasis from Iraq to Afghanistan and pound the Taliban into the ground. Pakistan is not going to be cooperative and we will pound the al qaeda there into the ground as well. BO is a wolf in sheeps clothing, and a geek to boot.

I always have been a cheerful person.
