No. I've never thought of Cancers as brooding. They are really just kind people. I've known male and female and always clicked with them. They tend to let things roll off them. I think they are great to my Scorpio counterpart. My best friend would watch me have a hiss fit and just LAUGH. And all I could do was break down laughing, too!
He was my roommate for awhile. Best roommate ever. We use to have great adventures. We just played off each other. I guess he probably was a homebody but I roped him into all sorts of things and he was always a great sport!
My second guess, the Libra part, was because you tend to do "Well, on the one hand...but on the other hand..."
Maybe that means that you are a Libra rising, or whatever the heck that means!
I always thought of it as a circle divided into quarters. Those in a particular quarter were buddy signs.
For Cancer, Libra, Scorpio. Vigro can sneak in there depending on how you cut it. You may find different interpretation depending on the source. Some will argue Libra, Scorpio, Vigro is the better match and sort of desire Cancer for some inspiration. O boy, the muse concept again.
For me those were always the balanced, rational people. The wild card being Cancer who needed one of the others to balance out mood swings. Depending on the literature this is also where you find the folks with the high sex drives and great interest in the subject. Of course that will generate raging debate from all the others. And it gets even weirder because apparently in females that can vary with conditions and all over the lot, much more than in males. Again a subject area I tried to explore, mostly you got it word of mouth. But you can try to form an opinion. Pays to go after the interesting areas.
Then you can attempt to group the other signs and understand them in that manner. Which are more personal, warm and fuzzy, which more cool and detached, etc. You do seem to find certain occuptions will spread out along certain type signs, groups. Maybe an entire study area that has been neglected. If you web search get almost no usable type data. From a pure statistical view point you expect the distribution of signs across the entire population to be somewhat even, but is that in fact the case?
The poll in the front which may / may not be a big enough sample does appear to show a data spread, at least for the sample around C-D. A mean value number should be 8.33%. So many ways to play with the subject.
Then you can project it back on yourself in some manner as a means of self examination. Always something I found interesting. Maybe one of the days will have to attempt to search for any Scientific American type articles in this area. Over the years, they have studied everything else to death. Somewhere the government must be hiding the truth again. You wonder do if they even collect the raw data. The US census doesn't seem to turn up any, can't remember if birthdays are collected, or is it just age.
When nothing is happening on C-D, you can waste huge, huge amounts of time on subjects like this. The kicker is also if you can develop the better mousetrap can make huge, huge amounts of money too.
