Im not a believer of 'ghosts' per say but do believe there are beings out there can can no longer transform to fleshly bodies. Long story. And I wouldnt ridicule a person who has experienced weird stuff.

There is no doubt in my mind. Not only have I seen ghosts (a man standing in the doorway at the home I grew up in, a man standing over me while I was sleeping on the sofa and someone else in the room said the same thing, a man walking across the entrance of the house while I was sitting in the family room etc.) but my children have talked to spirits, described things to me that they could not possibly know about my parents and sister that are deceased. I believe children have the ability to see these things because they have no mental safe guards against them and all three of my kids have. My oldest and youngest much more so than the middle child.

Do you believe in GHOSTS? Why?
Ughhh... and all that time I believed there was a ghost named Casper...

I never believed in ghosts until I woke up and looked at myself in the mirror this morning..

Seriously, I don't believe in them, and never did, and until I see one for myself, that's how my belief in them is going to remain. If they exist it's probably some supernatural thing. However, in a related topic, I do believe when our life ends, our soul remains and we go on to aother dimension, either Heaven, or the other place, depending on how we lived our lives.

I don't beleive in ghosts. I believe more in aliens or flying saucers than ghosts, really. I believe in a logical explanation. People that see things in the shadows of a room or in the clouds is perhaps just experiencing paradolia. I see things that I want to see all the time. Now in my dreams, yes, I do believe in ghosts and past lives. Too much sharing. I must be silent now.

Interesting how uncomfortable people are in discussing subjects such as people leaving their physical bodies when they die and the spirit remaining.

But they have no problem talking about "souls" "going to heaven."

Did it happen soon after the death of someone you knew (but the apparition didn't match the deceased person)?
They would float across the room 2-3feet off the ground and u could make out the body and face but it was like they were shrouded in a cloud...usually greyish in color. and they would move slowly across the room prob half the speed of a normal walking gait. I would see the 3 or 4 times a month.

I don't believe in ghosts but I love ghost stories and ghost trails in old cities! I like to imagine our souls move on. My husband believes in them so I don't knock the belief, he's never had an experience though. I will say this though, onetime when I was in high school hanging out in my room with some friends...the door knob began twisting back and forth for a good minute or so with no one on the outside...I did have the window open and that is I guess how I justified it. Needless to say my friends FREAKED! Then, another friend that was arriving shortly afterward terrifyingly said someone was in the back seat of my car. Nobody there when we went downstairs. Also, my neighbor is a very religious lady and she said she use to hear an old lady crying in her house...spooky!
