I've already posted this elsewhere, but I'm thinking this is for publicity. I hope I'm wrong but take the following into consideration:
1) The storm-chasing father has made an experimental, weather balloon.
2) The parents of this kid were on the TV show "Wife Swap".
3) The storm-chasing father needs to market his weather balloon.
4) The parents may not only be obsessed with storm chasing, but with media attention.

According to the weather channel news just now, there was no boy. Supposedly that older kid told a 'story'. Of course that part is unconfirmed but they brought the balloon down and it was empty. Unless at some point he opened the door and fell out?? Gawd I hope not. But the door was still shut when it landed so who knows.
The fourth picture shows what appears to be a door slightly opened.
""The basket itself was not breached. It does not look like he fell out of it, but again, this is all conjecture."
"I'm very confident we will find him. I think it's a matter of him being a little scared," she said. "Maybe he's not ready to be found."
Let's hope he undid the balloon a hid in fear that he would get in trouble.
let's hope that they can save this little boy if he is in the balloon. (and hope that he is hiding since the balloon got away instead of trapped in the balloon).
It's Obama's fault.
