Coast to Coast hasn't been the same since Art Bell stopped his regular hosting duties and moved only to special occasions.

I agree 100%. I used to listen to Art Bell all the time. George Noory not so much.

Same here. Listened to Art almost every single night. Started losing interested when George took over full time to the point where I now listen to the show maybe once or twice a year if that.

I like George Noory. I don't believe in all the space alien stuff, but there are some very good topics and guests. For example, I really enjoyed Jessie Ventura this evening and hearing Ventura's political opinions. C2C also has some great shows to do with mental and physical health, history, finances, et al. C2C is a catch-all for quite a few things that slip past the regular media, and it's very refreshing to turn on a radio and hear something besides how we need to bomb Iran or how socialists are ruining America.

I like George Noory. He doesn't delve as deeply into the subject matter as Art Bell did but he does offer an unbiased ear to callers and guests. He does have more crazies and BS artists on than I'd like and it can get a little repetitious but he's never critical and seems interested in letting people tell their stories and give their opinions. He's a good guy.
I tune out when I hear topics about crop circles, time travel, callers with first hand experiences with alien civilizations, remote viewing, chemtrails. But he does rotate other areas of interest in and has some good guests. As always the callers with their stories are what makes the show fun.
I did like Bruce Williams with his calls about financial matters, personal problems and legal issues. The only guy who comes close to that today is Dave Ramsey but he's too predictable .... don't go into debt, pay off your bills, eat rice and beans, etc. etc.

George is quite the conspiracy theorist, seems to me. In particular, his support for the alien presence and mind-control stuff is "impressive". Wow! Just imagine if it's all true!

How do the rest of you see him? Just a simple guy who has found a good profitable niche with the great masses of scientifically illiterate late-night listeners? Or an honest fellow with rreally great ideas, that the government really wants to kill off?

You know, like they did when they banished Art Bell to a South Pacific island?
He's just an entertainer. I treat him like all the "paranoromal entertainers" (such as Art Bell, George Knapp, Whitley Strieber, Jaime Maussan, ect) as such and listen occasionaly to be entertained, not educated... and they are ALL very entertaining!

They are ultimately there to attract listeners and make a buck though, so they will usually dig up the most entertaining... not necessarily the most TRUE... stuff.

One thing I can't stand about Coast are the listener's calls. They just get too bat-$h!# crazy and I'd rather listen to wind and engine noise instead!

I thought Art moved back to Manilla because he loved the place and his new wife was from there, conspiracy theory?
Canadians dont hate Americans in general they just find Rightwing nut jobs hard to take..
George Noori is catering to a certain demographic for his audience so its only natural for him to agree and play along with most of his callers.
I used to listen to the show all the time when Art Bell was the host, although many of the topics were a bit far out Art always made it sound plausible and interesting.
Noori's listeners on the other hand dont have the same attitudes and come off like a bunch of Trailer park nutcases who have had too much to drink and a bit too much pseudo religion.

Default Was better...

With Art bell. Interesting and well done for each show, And all the wacky guests, Like Fritz, The "Antichrist", Bugs and the cast of kooks. I recall the fake Area 51 "employee" who called crying that caused such a stir.

George is a bit bland IMO.
