why would they have any concept of time? they're dead. perhaps they're inert and go into action only when stimulated by the environment.

I believe they don't turn the clocks back in Indiana. So perhaps that state is where more ghosts congregate than others.

Default More ghostly crud.

This is what happens to people who don't want to believe in another world beyond this one.

Remember that old bible quote... where your treasures are, you will be also.

Well, that applies to this. If you loved your home and you didn't believe in anything else, you may still be living there for years after you die. The fact that your house has been sold and someone else lives there now and is sleeping in your bedroom, well, that's what happens.

See why it's best to believe in something than nada?
This threatening crud-filled stance, taken by so many Christians who are unable to respect the wishes of others who don't happen to believe in the little Christian fantasy, is soooooo annoying to those of us with an ounce of intelligence...

Better to believe in the supernatural? I don't think so. Ghosts and Gods: no evidence of them, despite the reality TV shows that cater to the desperate wanna-believe-it types.

Well, if you don't want to be enlightened... sorry.

But you know what, when I first heard this, I pretty much said the same thing you did. It's like, who cares? Why am I being told this stuff? And why don't I just hang up on the caller, instead of letting TMI go in one ear and out the other?

But you know what else happened... all that stuff got into my soul and two years later my curiosity got the better of me and I read a book, which is beyond the Bible, and it changed my life. So you are reading from me what I read... and who knows, maybe in two years you'll have a change of heart... and then again, maybe not.

Nothing. They don't exist.

Well, apparently you know as well as I what that feels like. It's just that my enlightenment moved me away from the greater Christian myth-fable. I do not intend to ever go back into the darkness. Why would I want to, after all?

You have said yourself that such a empirically based life is problematic for you. Not for me. I'm happiest bathed in the truth, even if it doesn't yet know all the answers, and probably never will. That's still better than stepping on the neck of honest observation and answer-seeking, don't you think?

Well, what I'm sharing with you is the truth... but it's your soul that will need to awaken to it and, eventually, your mind will catch up.

But, perhaps, your soul is already purified with natural love, and that's a good thing. I'm just sharing another alternative... soul purification with God's Divine Love... that amplifies our love and happiness equation to the nth degree.

One other thing:

Ghosts are nothing more than ancient folklore. For example, people used to explain sickness as evil spirits inside one's body, only because they didn't have modern science to explain that a virus was making someone throw up or cough. You're talking about a time when alchemy and astrology were relevant. It's astonishing to me that as a human race we've made so much progress, yet we still hold on to such ancient and frivolous myths.
