Your missing the whole point, the aliens are here to blow every religion out of the water.
Maybe aliens, being alien, don't have a concept like "religion." So if they're here, they're here for their own purposes...which we, as the resident population, cannot comprehend. And maybe it's better that way, because if their civilization is sophisticated enough to permit them to infiltrate another planet, then standing up to them isn't going to be easy or pleasant.
Your missing the whole point, the aliens are here to blow every religion out of the water. The Bible speaks of a time when a man will appear on the planet, and this man will become the worlds religious leader. All will be expected to worship him. And he will be able to work signs and wonders in the sight of men. So as to convince them, that he is God. Back in the 1970s I recall reading contact stories that came from people who claimed that through ESP they were having encounters with aliens. And they spoke of a man who would appear on earth who would control the light ships of the air. And they stated that all who would oppose this man, his light ships would remove. The Bible speaks of Gods rapture of the church, that is when the Christians are removed from off the planet. When that occurs, this man will take credit for their dissappearence. And then will begin a time of total terror for this world. When I was four years old, I had a vision of this man. He is coming. And I still recall that vision even though I was very young, and it occured almost 55 years ago.
So maybe the aliens are here to tell the truth about mankind and all the churches are lying in order to preserve themselves...

And to think many of us here try to deal with this person with rational thoughts and ideas.
I never cared for ponies, I always encountered the ornery ones. In my visions my parents would own Mattel, Wham-O, a SnoCone or Ice Cream Shoppe, and Disneyland.
