Hi! I am planning to study in Scotland either in Striling or Dundee. My problem is that I would like to work while attending university..can anyone give me some solid advice of which of these cities it would be easier to find a part time job

What is it that you want to do?

Dundee is the larger of the two towns, and it's had a tough go economically. But there's an emerging life sciences industry there along with a well-known cadre of video game studios (know Grand Theft Auto?)

Stirling is, in my view, the much more pleasant of the two but isn't as big. So your job choices may be somewhat more limited.

Just curious, why don't you consider Univ. of Edinburgh?

I have considered Univ. of Edinburgh but I havent goten a reply yet, thus right now I am considering these two choices. I have a BS in Computer Science so I hope that will help out somewhat...anyway thanks for the reply!

Your best bet would probably be to go to Dundee as theres more job opportunities and its not as rural as Stirling.
