I've been accepted to universities in both cities, and I currently can't decide where should I go. Nottingham Uni seems to be a bit better than QUB but it's also much more expensive (increase in tuition fees doesn't affect Northern Ireland). So what it comes down to is the location. Should I go to Belfast or Nottingham?

On what criteria would you like the opinions to be based? You have given us no information on what you are looking for, what your likes or dislikes are.

Back when I was choosing uni's almost 10 years ago i almost chose QUB on the basis it had something like 70-80% female students . Chose nottingham in the end (still had nearly 60% female students back then) Personally I wouldnt advise it. For a supposedly top 10 university I found the lecturers and courses crap. But it depends what you're studying. Some subjects Nott will have a better reputation, others somewhere else. FWIW I was an Economics undergrad.
