Hi guys! I need your help. I am going to visit my friend who lives in Scotland in a small place called Braemar. I arrive in Edinburgh at 12:20 and no idea how to get there. I am thinking of traveling by train to Aberdeen but I am not sure which station I should travel from. And from Aberdeen, the Internet offers me to use 201 bus. I do not want to get in trouble, you know to stay in Aberdeen over night or something like that cause the village I mentioned is really small and I am not sure how often buses go there. Any ideas? Thanks for you help!

If your intending staying overnight in Aberdeen book a room beforehand, as their always busy... Ill find out for you how best for you to travel

...http://www.thetrainline.com/train-ti...ey-to-aberdeen IT seems your right about the bus too..

There is a regular bus service from the bus station located beside Aberdeen train station (Service Number 201 (download PDF timetable)).

I hope I will catch 13:28 or 14:00 train to Aberdeen. It should not be complicated to get to Braemar from there then. However I am not sure If I should ask a taxi driver to get me to Edinburgh Waverley Station. It is about 8 miles from the Airport. It is probably a silly question but can you tell me how much money cost to travel 8 miles in Scotland using a taxi? Approximately...

You might be able to get a bus that will take you from the airport but all get a price for you for a taxi too.... a private hire is better than a black taxi..

A private hire? I am not sure I know what you mean. If I get it right, I think it is almost impossible to hire a car for a eight-mile journey :-)
