Some people seem to think so, as this will supposedly 'help' business -but surely not?

Let's say unskilled workers from places in Asia to be given work permits, to work in UK.

I really don't think that would be a good idea, do you?

Not if there are folks willing to fill those jobs in the UK, surely they can't pay imported workers less an a UK citizen?

That's what they said about immigration from the EU, and it's led to a massive influx of immigrants, unemployment, inflation and overcrowding.

They could bring in a load of Chinese, Cambodians etc.. to at least stop inflation, and make it easier to 'get rid of staff'.

Who's for it?

Not me, and let's not forget the cultural differences these people will have, thus further eroding the unity of the British people.
