Besides wanting Ireland united, what are Sinn Fein's views on economic matters, etc.? Are they to the left of Labour?

Sinn Féin has always opposed the current structure of the European Union and has been Euroskeptic.

The Argument has always been why campaign to break away from a British Union, only to have national sovereignty handed over to a European Union.

Northern Ireland currently has it's own Parliament at Stormont, and Ulster has always had strong independent identity, with Belfast and Stormont being their capital and Parliament and not Dublin.

I have wondered about that in relation to an "independent" Scotland that would submit to Brussels. Would somebody please explain this to me?
