In the real world sensible and pragmatic politicians don't go for snake oil sales men. Britain is the US closest ally and our foreign office really does not need anyone, especially Farage, to mediate.

Farage is a bit of a loose cannon and not well liked by the political establishment in the UK.
What does he give as his reason for wanting France out of the EU? Why does he care? The UK is out.

Is he simply a spoiler by nature?

Default proposal

John Brian Shannon (Letter to Britain) has suggested that Nigel Farage would make a good Minister to Europe.

It is amazing what the modern day PC people consider racism or bigotry.

Just because he is unwilling to play the PC game does not mean he is an ______ist or _____phobe. Yet many people who have no clue what the real definition of those words mean throw, them around without a second thought.

Newsflash - The immaturity and attempt to silence freedom of thought/expression is coming to it's end. The backlash will be significant for those who continue to try to use PC as a weapon to try and destroy people who think differently than they do.

Heck even I don't.

He may have taken UKIP from being just another National Front style obscure party to something more mainstream, but that was Farage. UKIP is dead. He succeeded in leaving the EU, but hasn't hung around to help in its transition or whatever the hell they call this mess. UKIP will flounder as a party. They can't get it together. Their leader elect gave up after 2 weeks, there has been so much in fighting, heck it even came to blows that landed the fella who wanted to be the next leader ended up in a coma.

Listen, being a "close friend" of "Trump" is nothing to be proud about and to be honest do you really think the orange man considers Farage a close friend? Not even close. He's not part of the inner circle. The orange man nor his transition team have any use for Farage and I promise you there are no lucrative endorsements waiting for him, no lecture circuits and other than FOx News, I doubt he'd be on the top of any studios list.

But Farage will be alright Jack, on his pensions and investments, cant say same about the believers who saw him as their Saviour.
UKIP are nothing to do with the National Front; 'race' has NOTHING to do with what UKIP stood for, 'race' is irrelevant in its aims, you may not agree with UKIP's aims or policies but to call UKIP a 'racist' party is ignorant at best. Nigel Farage simply wanted the UK out of Europe, he has succeeded, he considered the UK would do better out of the EU, you may agree with him on this, you may not but at no time has any persons 'race' had anything to do with it. Perhaps you could throw 'xenophobic' at the party but even then I don't believe this to be true. Farage wanted the country out of the EU not through a 'hatred' of 'Johnny Foreigner' but because he believed it would benefit the people (of all races) of Britain, the country is now out of the EU and Farage has therefore announced his intention to step down.

Farage supports Le Penn in her quest to take France out of the EU, as they both have a similar viewpoint regarding the EU.

As for his views, as already stated he's entitled to them, and it should be noted that the EU is not popular in a number of countries and not just the UK.

My only wish is for Britain to forge good trading partnerships with as many countries and economic blocs as possible including the EU. A workable trading agreement is in everyones interest.

Yes so amazing that you don't seem to grasp it.

We live in a democratic society and everybody is entitled to their opinion(s).
