It's a jigger, in newengland. I never would have thought it was racist, either.

It's another name for a shot glass. Usually those double sided metal ones you see professional bar tenders using. Or, a particular piece of fishing tackle.

Oh, well, duh, thanks. I've heard that term for the shot glass after all. I'm just not politically correct enough to think of it as racist. Never heard of it being racist.
