I find this horrible for anyone to ignore this mother asking for this film to be taken off at the Oscar ceremony, when it is upsetting for the woman after her young son was so brutally murdered as a toddler by two children... https://www.itv.com/news/2019-01-25/...ete-at-oscars/

I was amazed when I read of this short film being made. The makers didn't even tell the little boy's mother they were making it at all.

For what purpose the filmmakers decided to do this at all is hard to understand. To cause all this upset, doesn't make any sense to me.

TBH i'm surprised nobody has made this film before now, film makers aren't exactly known for their tact.

when they can make cash and prestige from a film I don't think they listen to anyone's wishes.

The families wishes should be respected and they don't want the film to be part of any award ceremony.

Small wonder the family concerned are distraught. As for the basic film idea - disgusting.
