Labour's main situation is confusion and a lack.

Eyewitness footage has captured Keir Starmer being kicked out of a Bath pub by the landlord, who accused the UK Labour leader of "failing" the British electorate during the Covid-19 lockdown.

If every there was a time that the UK needed a proper opposition to the government this is it.

I had hopes for him when he took over from Corbyn but unfortunately he's proved to be utterly useless.

Labour will be in the political wilderness for years to come, they have lost any connection to the working class and are a London only elite, as the last election proved. they are a joke, not only that most of their politicians are out and out Marxists which the British voters will never allow into power.

I feel that it’s more like the working class in modern times, would prefer to sever the connection with Labour.
I’ve been blue collar, working class all my life, I dug ditches, worked construction, drove trucks, anything to put food on the table, and clothes on my kids backs.
If there was a pound note or a dollar bill to be earned, I’d go out and work to earn it.
I think that it’s only right to help people at the bottom of the ladder if they’re unable to help themselves, that’s the extent of my nod toward socialism, but Labour seemed over keen to give benefits to the work shy, or those with the nous to scam the system.
The talking heads on TV this a.m. were asking what could Labour do to reverse the trend of people deserting the party, and drifting toward the Conservatives.
My wife said that a change of name might help them, her father was a bus driver, her mother an office cleaner, but they had both identified the word Socialism with Communism.
They couldn’t bring themselves as working class Londoners to vote Conservative, but had become disillusioned with Labour, so voted Liberal in an attempt to keep Labour out.

Labour hardly exists in Scotland. The latest poll of the results of the election in Scotland shows a dismal performance; of the 94 seats reported out of 129, Labor has won only 10. On the flip side, they beat the Conservatives in Wales. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk

The Tories even won a seat in Hartlepool, Andy Capp’s home town.

Labour are so far 'out of touch' with the electorate it's ridiculous.

You say that as if it’s a bad thing, (tongue in cheek), I’ve been blue collar, working class all my life and it will be a cold day in Hell when I vote for Labour.
None of their policies suit me and the way I work, I’ll dig ditches and drive trucks to feed my family, but I don’t want my tax pounds going to shysters who are scamming the system, but if someone can’t work through no fault of their own, the Government can help them with as much of my tax as is needed.
This sounds like a re-run of my post # 15, apologies, I’d forgotten that.

I have to admit...as if my view as an American counts...that when looking at their website their constitutional reforms seem outrageous. But I wonder why don't more people vote liberal?
