I’m apolitical, but I wish Mr. Johnson a speedy recovery, just as I do to anyone laid low by this plague.
Not everyone thinks like that though, Sheila Oakes, the Labour (kind of to the left of Democrats), Mayor of Heanor, a one horse podunk place in Derbyshire, has been expelled from the Party for declaring on her Facebook page, “Boris Johnson completely deserves to have Coronavirus.”
What a copper bottomed, no good skank.
I wouldn’t wish anything on her, I’m an hono(u)rable good ol’ Southern boy, (South London that is).
Skank is an understatement.
Big up South London, I love our side of town.
Why isn't there an official line of succession incase the PM is incapacitated?
There kinda is, the party runs candidates to become party leader if need be. As in the case of a no confidence vote. Parties choose their leader by vote as opposed to having a progression list.
I have to salute the British people. Even when you do not agree with a political view, you still show class and compassion. Unlike my people, the American people.
In this crisis, we Americans are so divided that we still wish ill on our own political opponents, that we can’t even unite for a few months to fight this virus.
I wish that we had some of your spirit.
OH it gets bad here too.. a lot of bitter people around.
