He has just been sacked I believe.
Sacked: Bin Laden costume policeman - Scotsman.com News

I think it was rather tasteless and poor judgement but I do find it ridiculous that he should get sacked for wearing a costume , during his day off at a Cornish festival where there is a long tradition of wearing costumes of hated political figures. And I can think of very few people more hated than Bin Laden in the west, with Hitler and Stalin.

PC has gone a bit too far. Stupid maybe but hardly a crime worth losing one's career over it.

I found it hilarious but then I have a bin laden costume myself from a party a couple of years ago. He shouldn't have been sacked but its just another PC incident.
