Has anyone else realised that this once beautiful free country is turning more and more like a police state every single day.

We have an unelected PM, broken promise on a Europe referendum and endlass fines and taxes on joe public to cover Government overspending. I mean, this recent arrest of an MP should be a wake up call to us all, the fact there were damaging secrets to leak says it all. When a shadow minister has been arrested for doing his job, it makes me think we are on our way to becoming another Zimbabwe. If this sort of thing can happen to an MP, GOD HELP THE REST OF US, did any one notice Gorden Brown was the only MP not to bow his head to the Queen as he enterd the lords at the state opening of parliment??? The British people should stand up to this socialist Government and realise that Gorden and his partners in crime are just as bad as a Soviet style politburo.

It seems to be a world wide trend sadly. ID cards. CCTV everywhere. George Orwell was right. He was just about 24 years out.

They`ll be out at the next election so we can forget most of the Queen`s speech, and look forward to a more up-front sort of dictatorship under the Tories. Rather than the back door one attempted by Uncle Gordon...
But just in case,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Cry ""God for Harry, England, and St George!!""

I really dislike our government but it could be worse. Still its not ideal.

In all honestly I prefer the Scottish government, they're still bad but not as bad as Westminster. I hate politics

God, the queen, any more useless belief systems you would like to throw into the mix?

We do not have an 'unelected PM' as we elect the party, and GB is the leader of the party. The UK is not a 'police state' and comparing it to the Soviet Union is just plain stupid.

Get a grip man

Your a very aggressive man Ian. Ever heard of a "chill pill"?? Just because these beliefs do not appeal to you does not give you the right to stop me expressing mine.
