I live in Oakland now. Probably won't move unless I am priced out of the walkable areas!*

Charleston, SC is my backup plan city when I am priced out of CA
LA has been on my never list, but it is cheaper than the Bay and getting good transit. Now it has moved up in terms of options.
Montreal (too bad the weather sucks! Loved it there)
Intrigued by Curitiba so perhaps it can be on my list
Vancouver

*Contrary to the news reports Oakland is a good place to live: walkable/bikeable areas, good food, lots of unique local stores, diversity, lots of pluses.

It's a pretty easy list for me, as these are cities we are likely to live in for my husbands job.

London
Paris
Calgary
Denver
Perth

For fun I could live in

Rome
Paris
Madrid
London
San Francisco
