You will be reassigned for 5 years - no choice. You may narrow down the selection to 5 US cities with census population of 350K or greater.

In no particular order:

NYC
San Francisco
Boston
Washington
Miami

Bonus - you may also list 5 cities that under no particular circumstances will you move to.

Phoenix
Detroit
Oklahoma City
El Paso
Arlington, Tx

Of the ones I've been to:

Yes
NYC
Chicago
San Francisco
Denver
Austin

No*
Houston
Phoenix
DFW
Orlando
Seattle (love to visit but too cloudy)

*I would still give these places a chance, but they'd be at the bottom of the list. Can't think of any reason good enough to rule them out completely.

In no particular order: (as they come to mind)
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Pittsburgh
Detroit
Chicago

I'm sort of on the same page as abqpsychlist. There are many cities I wouldn't choose to move to, but if I had to live in one of them, I'd probably be able to find my own niche, and be happy there. So, cities that come to mind would be:
Phoenix
Atlanta
Charlotte
Las Vegas
Houston
(you get the idea, these are just examples of the kinds of cities I'm not interested in)
