Forgive me for not going through the threads to see if anyone's asked/answered this question before.
I'm researching grad schools for either urban planning or public policy - I've always been strongly interested in/passionate about the urban planning field - and am in my mid-30's without relevant career/internship experience.
What's the career outlook for the field - is it growing due to changes in cities (people returning to downtowns, and cities beginning to revive), or is it still stagnant due to governmental budget cuts?
