I am trying to seek some guidance and as much information as possible regarding the ins and outs (what can and cannot be done/constructed) on land that is zoned for agricultural use and used as an event venue space (weddings, mitzvahs, and other large events). I see them on theknot.com and weddingwire.com and they appear to be legitimate functioning businesses on what I would consider very large parcels of land (5 Acres+).

I am doing my due diligence exploring this model as an option for an event space since brick and mortar commercial space with sufficient parking is scarce and extremely expensive for a new entrepreneur like myself in my neck of the woods (South Florida).

I would be very grateful for any and all input or references of how I can find out more useful, free, and reliable information without going crazy.

For reference, here are 2 examples of venues I found in my area (same owners).

Call the county tax appraiser's office to start off. They will probably know the most about land usage, and they'll know who to refer you to.

You're describing (possibly) agritourism. Here are some court opinions to arm you for a potential argument with the city or neighbors.

Absolute sky is the limit from the ground up. Usually, low density, although. Able to occur even in adjacent or immediate proximity to major urban areas. Not just small towns or villages. Or in the outside rural areas. Agriculture is able to encourage sustainable acts often. Even Vertical farming.

Other than Bucharest Romania, the area around Bangkok Thailand is completely filled with endless Agriculture throughout. Although, with rice paddies for the second one. These two megalopolis major cities with millions even have train stations stopping in the middle of a Farm vacant lot with no buildings around.

I remember that in the extremely long walk when I took a Train ride to Mogosoaia village Castle in the Romania one.

For the Southeast Asia one, Pagodas Temples, that are their own ancient classical.
