From your own knowledge, which city to you believe has the most extensive redevelopment plans in place. This can be mixed use, residential, retail or an entertainment district.

I know New Orleans has or had some really big, ambitious redevelopment plans. I'm just not too sure how much of it was or will be carried through.

Flint, Michigan's plan to bulldoze entire sections of the city trumps anything these other places want to do.

Atlanta has a very ambitious plan called the Atlanta Beltline. The city plans to utilize land that is no longer used by the railways and encircles the entire city; a chain of parks would be created that would be linked by walking/running/biking trails and light rail. The plans include the redevelopment of an old quarry in SW Atlanta that would result in creating the largest park space within the city limits. The city would be completely transformed as a result.
