The vibe of this place is very positive, more so than any place I've ever been. Maybe it's due to the tolerant, laid-back nature of the LDS folks.

Anybody else out there had the good fortune to visit this area? What were your thoughts?

I have no idea who that is, so I don't get the joke.

But I had the fortune to sample two of the local beers. I kid you not... Polygamy Porter, and St. Provo beer! Of course I'm sober because they are a bit weak.

Well I hate to be a downer or anything but I think a lot depends of where you moved from as to your perception of things. Also there's so many other factors as to what kind of experience you're going to have in a place. I live in Utah and I think my experience here is quite different from many. I mean it is a great place I'm just saying everyone's experience is different.
(BTW Ken Jennings is from Utah; he was a super big winner on Jeopardy)

dreameyes is right, Ken Jennings was a 74 day winner on Jeopardy, all time record, and he seems so nice.

Utah has many nice spots to go visit. When you get a chance, go south to Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Arches and Zion Park. Go east to Moon Lake and that area around Duschene. Get up into the Wasatch Range around Park City which is nice. Have fun...there is a lot to do there if you like the outdoors.

Ken is my best buddy in the whole world. He likes to pretend that he hasn't the faintest idea who I am, but he only does that when I ask him for a loan.
