I am new to Utah and want to eventually purchase a house on property that is zoned for animals. Can anyone please tell me what areas are best for this? I would like about 1.5 to 2 acres in a nice quiet area with fairly new houses, where there are trees and grass as opposed to desert areas.

What you need to do is to contact individual communities about their "animal rights." They vary widely from town to town, and from county to county. There are many communities in Cache County which allow farm animals on larger lots - you can even have hens on a city lot in Logan! Good luck.
