So I've been hearing about the fires that are eating up Cali right now and it's got me worried, does Utah have wildfires? If so, where at?

Yes. Wildfires can occur anywhere in the state, but are only concerns to homeowners whose properties adjoin wilderness land. So in the middle of town its not a big concern.

Check this out from earlier this summer:

Thank you for the link.

I am also wondering, do you breathe smoke during the summers when wildfires are going on?

Another good site for Utah wildfires is below. In the one summer we lived in St. George, there were more than enough wildfires for our comfort. Once we ran errands at night on St. George Blvd. and could see the fires in the AZ strip just past Bloomington. Another time we could see fires up by Zion from Washington. Due to the lack of large trees or taller vegetation, you can see almost any fire (usually the smoke) around. You can definitely smell the smoke if the winds blow in your direction.
