I don't know if it opened sunday or not, I was in Sacramento..hubby was here, I think he would have said something...the grand opening was today. No, did not go, got my fix in Las Vegas on my way home from the airport yesterday...will get there this week...not sure where I would even park at, will have to go when it's a slower time, mid day or something..I knew they would have issues with the drive through and cars..

Cool Be Prepared!

Give yourself PLENTY of time. Growing up with I&O I never saw the swarm when a new location would open like I saw when they started opening them in the Phoenix area a few years back. Lines out the parking lot and down the street police having to control traffic, crowds of people outside waiting to just get in the door. It was crazy! I thought I needed my Double-Double fix!

We went today! The line for the drive thru went behind the anchor stores and thru the parking lot. It moved quick, we only spent 24 minutes in line. The employees were all great and working hard. It was as good as I remembered!

Default IN and out opening

Wow.....Great pictures. Can't wait till I move to SG to try them. Is this anything similar in popularity as White Castle (sliders) from Illinois? Do they have a distinctive flavor of their own?

I've never had white castle, although everyone has heard about them. yes, in n out has it's own distinct taste. The buns are all fresh...how do I describe the buns...i am getting hungry just thinking about it. In n out is family owned and they know how to do a hamburger. Our friends in Grand Rapids, MI always gorge themselved on in n out when they come to visit. When you get here I will buy you your first one!

You are on Dogmom! Can't wait. I found frozen sliders in an Iowa grocery store over the weekend. We "steamed" them last nite. It just wasn't quite the same as White Castle freshly cooked, but we got the "jist" of it till we can go home to Chicago one last time before heading west to SG.
