Seems to me when we lived in CA we could get white castle burgers either at costco or the market...my dad likes them, he grew up in Minneapolis. Might have to look for them...they are square, right? Am I thinking the right burgers??

Yes you are correct. They are the little square burgers with onions on them Now that I have had my first taste of "frozen" sliders from the grocery store and not freshly made at White Castle, it is not quite the same, but remotely nostalgic. It took care of the fix until I can get back to Chicago. And yes...they do have them in Minneapolis!

I have to say that Im very surprised that Inn-N-Out will be in Utah.
I was under the impression that they werent going to expand beyond the Ca.Nv.Az. area.
Nevertheless, Inn-N-Out is awesome. I personally dont eat there as often, only because of the fat and I try to keep fats out of my diet.
The burgers are great though.
The french fries are awesome. They cut the potatoes right before they fry them.
All of the other vegetables are also fresh.
Good stuff. Maybe onward to Northern Utah soon.

You'll probably have to come south to SoUtah for your in n out fix...they don't go more than 500 miles from their warehouse, which is in Buena Park, CA..St. George is just about stretching it.

I felt like I was back home walking in there with my friend Purple today..and the food was just as good as ever...yum!

I was under the impression that they either just built one outside of Vegas or are in the process of doing so. That would open up SLC and ABQ, I believe.

Read it either on this board or somewhere else.

Growing up in California and just moving out here last summer, In-N-Out, was definitely something we were gonna miss...until we found out about Chadders!

You walk in there...and it SMELLS like In-N-Out...you can even order In-N-Out style (I asked for "Animal Style" and they knew what it was though they call it "stubby style".

To me the food tastes exactly the same...though my hubby doesn't think Chadder's shakes are as good...

But for those of us up north, it's definitely worth a visit!

I'm sure we'll definitely visit the real thing when we're down in St. George though!
Turns out that In&Out just discovered Chadders as well. Seems that the guy that started Chadders spent his formative years split between Utah and So California. Most of his ideas (Lets get real all of his ideas.) Are right out of the In&Out playbook. You can walk into a Chadders and order anything that In&Out sells. A Lawyer for In&Out recently did that and chances are you will see a major change in Chadders offerings or the place will go out of business. They have a big problem when you copy them and will take other chains to court over it. And they are good at winning. Kind of like that Disney motto, "Don't mess with the Mouse."
