Ah mapmd, the contrast of the self declared Libertarian who despises someone's use of their own property. A libertarian in a nanny outfit. RVs unsightly? LOL.

You sure your ex-neighbors know how many ppl are living there? I also agree with contacting your city...there are usually codes for rentals. Get them out of there

Like I said in my post. People not taking care of their property is one of the contradictions I'm trying to come to terms with. I am OTHERWISE fairly Libertarian. I have never claimed to be 100% in line with all policies/"ideals" that some consider "cannon" within the party.

I'll make the argument that people not keeping their structures or grounds in a condition on par with others in the general area has a detrimental effect on everyone in the vicinity and therefore infringes on the property rights of their neighbors. OP's case clearly falls along these lines. Talk about a grey area.

Something tells me that at the rate society's standards (in basically every arena of life) are declining, the US will be a bottom-of-the-barrel 2nd world country (examples: Bulgaria, Ukraine, Columbia, etc.) before the end of my lifetime.

If it is legal TOO bad. Most will check to see if it is legal when moving in; I did. And no one seems to complain, even the TRUE libertarian who lives next door; who also has one in the driveway. You have gone from "mostly" libertarian in one post to "fairly" libertarian in the second post. I guess if you answer this it will change to "somewhat" libertarian.

Hard to be called a libertarian when a person likes government intervention for their private personal beliefs!

You sound about as much a libertarian as Obama is a religious social conservative?
