I live in Grand Junction, Colorado, and we're at the eastern edge of the Book Cliffs, which are actually a mountain range that extends all the way to Price. I was wondering if anyone knows of good resources for learning more about that area. Anything good online? And guide books? I'm wondering about camping, road conditions (what roads are accessible for a vehicle without high clearance), and any other interesting info.

There are quite a few road in the Book Cliffs that "normally" do not require high clearance. However, a sudden rock slide across the road will change that to high clearance is required. And the roads are maintained by the counties, so it is up to them to clear the roads.
There are a few major, very well kept roads that are used by oil rigs.
I would recommend you contact the BLM office in Moab UT, Vernal and Price UT. Between the three offices, they manage the book cliffs in UTAH, and they have maps that will help you.
