I was reading the article linked below in The NY Times about the Paradise fire - A Frantic Call, a Neighbor’s Knock, but Few Official Alerts as Wildfire Closed In https://nyti.ms/2DANnXD?smid=nytcore-ios-share

Among other things, the article reveals that the Camp/Paradise fire Code Red alert went to the limited set of people who had subscribed for receiveving such messages. The Tubbs fire last year had something similar, though I could not determine if the systems involved were the same.

I am wondering if Utah or, in my particular case, the Salt Lake County/City have a similar system(s). If so, what the sytem(s) might be - or how does one find out and register to receive the alerts. Any helpful hints would be much appreciated!
